Is there an accessible entrance to Kimpton Margot Sydney?

Yes. While our main heritage entrance on Pitt Street features stairs and manual doors, we also have an accessible-friendly entrance at 115 Bathurst Street. This entrance offers step-free access and electric doors for your comfort and convenience.
If you arrive via Pitt Street and would prefer to avoid stairs, our friendly Porters are on hand to assist with luggage and guide you to the Bathurst Street entrance.

Do you offer valet parking?

No, unfortunately we do not offer valet parking. Closest 24-hour parking is First Parking – 100 Bathurst Street - with a maximum height of 2.1 metres. It is a 1-minute walk (94 metres) from the hotel.

Do you have accessible rooms?

Is the hotel entirely non-smoking?

All our guest rooms are non-smoking.

Do you offer room service? What are the hours?

Yes, we offer room service 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?

If you made a reservation using a third-party website please contact them direct to make modifications to your reservation.

Is my ID/passport required at check in?

A valid government-issued photo ID is required at the time of check in. For all Non-Australian guests we are required to see a valid passport.

Will your rooms allow rollaway beds/baby cots/cribs? Is there a charge?

Yes, we rollaway beds that are available for $100 AUD additional per night and baby cribs are available complimentary. Please contact us either via email on [email protected] or by calling 02 8027 8000, to ensure we have a rollaway bed or baby crib in your room.

Do you have connecting rooms?

Yes, The Kimpton Margot has 10 pairs of interconnecting rooms totally 20 guestrooms. This excludes the hotels Budden and Hammond Suites.

How do I get to the hotel?

What is the process to cancel my reservation directly with the hotel?

Please cancel more than 24 hours prior to your stay to avoid a one-night penalty. Cancellation of this reservation is subject to the hotel’s cancellation policy for your specific booking rate plan. Please note that for group reservations the policy is subject to each group’s accommodation contract.

How do I organise a birthday cake?

You can order special items including cakes and champagne for birthdays or anniversaries. Please reserve your cake prior to your stay via our reservations team - [email protected].

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is 11:00. However, it may differ depending on the accommodation package you have booked. Please refer to your reservation confirmation for more information.

Can I book a late check-out?

Late check out can be requested/booked with Reception on arrival. 

Can I book an early check-in?

It is possible to confirm an early check-in (*subject to availability) by paying an additional fee. Early check-in may be provided if on the same day the room is ready earlier than 15:00, but is also subject to availability.

Can you store my luggage before check-in or after check-out?

Yes, there is secure storage onsite at Kimpton Margot Sydney.

Do you have free WiFi?

All guests can access complimentary high-speed WiFi during their stay.

Do I need to make a restaurant reservation in advance?

We recommend that you make a reservation at our restaurants in advance, as seats are limited.
